Cathay Pacific 80th Anniversary Sale: Best Flight Deals from Singapore

Cathay Pacific’s 80th anniversary sale brings return Economy fares from Singapore down to S$354 all-in, with particularly good deals to Hong Kong, selected mainland Chinese cities, the US West Coast and Europe.
The headline prices are starting fares and will not appear on every date. Selected travel periods and blackout dates apply. The strongest strategy is to search flexible dates, compare the final itinerary and book early if a suitable fare appears.
Best Cathay Pacific sale fares at a glance
Hong Kong from S$354 return: the best short-break deal
Hong Kong is the cheapest destination in the sale, with all-in Economy fares from S$354 return. It is our best quick-getaway pick because the low entry price can be paired with anniversary offers at participating Hong Kong dining, shopping, hotel and transport partners.
Eligible Cathay members can also try promotion code CX80SG for S$80 off selected regional return flights. The code is limited to the first 500 qualifying transactions, so treat the discount as a bonus rather than assuming it will still be available.
Mainland China from S$424 return: the regional sweet spot
Beijing, Qingdao, Zhengzhou, Xi’an, Chongqing and Chengdu start from S$424 return. Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Nanjing, Wuhan and Wenzhou start from S$485, while Urumqi starts from S$647.
The S$424 group is the best mainland China value in the table. Travellers choosing among those cities can focus on the destination they actually want instead of chasing a marginal fare difference.
Tokyo from S$727 return: narrowly the best Japan fare
Tokyo starts from S$727 return, compared with S$764 for Osaka, Fukuoka or Nagoya. Tokyo is therefore the lowest listed Japan fare, but the S$37 difference is small enough that itinerary and hotel prices should decide the trip.
US West Coast from S$1,209: the best long-haul Economy fare
Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle share the lowest North American Economy price at S$1,209 return. That is lower than Boston and Chicago from S$1,354, Vancouver from S$1,435, New York from S$1,464, Toronto from S$1,538 and Dallas from S$1,584.
For eligible members, CX80SGLH offers S$138 off selected long-haul return flights. Only the first 50 qualifying transactions receive the discount, making this the promotion most likely to run out quickly.
Europe from S$1,221: ten cities at the lowest price
Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Madrid, Milan, Rome, Zurich, Munich and Brussels start from S$1,221 return. London starts from S$1,308.
This is the most flexible deal in the sale: ten European gateways share the same starting price, giving travellers more scope to match the airfare with the best dates, accommodation and ground itinerary.
Is Premium Economy worth considering?
New York Premium Economy starts from S$2,108, only S$644 above its S$1,464 Economy fare. Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle start from S$2,054 in Premium Economy.
The Economy fare remains cheaper, but the upgrade gap may be reasonable for travellers who value additional space on a long journey. Compare the exact aircraft, seat, connection time and fare conditions before deciding.
Cathay Pacific promotion codes
Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland and Northeast Asia. First 500 qualifying transactions.
Europe, North America and Australasia. First 50 qualifying transactions.
Both codes are available from 1 to 15 September 2026 for eligible Economy, Premium Economy and Business Class return travel from Singapore between 15 September and 10 December 2026.
Our verdict: which Cathay Pacific fares are genuinely good?
- Hong Kong from S$354 — best overall price and strongest short-break option.
- Mainland China from S$424 — best regional value across a broad group of cities.
- US West Coast from S$1,209 — cheapest listed long-haul Economy fare.
- Ten European cities from S$1,221 — best mix of price and destination choice.
- New York Premium Economy from S$2,108 — comfort upgrade worth comparing with Economy.
Tokyo at S$727 is still the cheapest Japan option in the table, but it is less compelling than the Hong Kong and mainland China fares on price alone.
