How the GHA Scavenger Hunt works

The promotion runs from 1 September to 31 October 2026. Registration alone earns one entry in the grand prize draw, even if you have no travel planned. Hotel visits and eligible stays can earn more entries; the D$50 stay bonus has separate requirements.

A QR scan earns a draw entry, not D$50. You could collect an entry while visiting a participating hotel for coffee, dinner or a spa appointment. Register before your participation activity, then follow the on-property QR instructions.

The campaign FAQ says repeat eligible stays can earn five entries, even when the brand no longer qualifies for your D$50 bonus. It describes stay entries regardless of length, while the bonus requires two nights. If you are booking a one-night stay specifically for entries, confirm eligibility with GHA: the terms’ definition of a qualified promotional stay also refers to a two-night minimum.

What can you win, and when does the prize expire?

There are 20 grand prizes: ten D$5,000 awards and ten Lifetime Titanium Memberships. Each D$5,000 award has US$5,000 of eligible redemption value and expires 12 months after issuance. It is hotel-programme credit, not cash paid to your bank account.

DISCOVERY Dollars can pay towards eligible hotel stays and participating dining, spa and other hotel spending. Plan to use the credit within its validity period; a large balance is only useful if you can redeem it.

Lifetime Titanium is the programme’s highest public tier, subject to its standard terms. GHA’s campaign FAQ describes 7% back in D$ on eligible stays and benefits such as early check-in, late check-out, room upgrades and breakfast at participating hotels. Availability and hotel rules still apply.

How to qualify for the D$50 Promotional D$ bonus

Start by opting into the promotion, then make an eligible direct booking through the GHA DISCOVERY website or app, or the hotel brand’s website or app. Complete at least two consecutive nights during the promotion period and check out on or before 31 October 2026.

Bookings made before 1 September 2026 are excluded. Stays before registration are excluded too, even if they fall within September or October. An existing reservation does not automatically become eligible when you register. Check cancellation terms and current prices before changing any booking.

The qualifying brand must be one you have not visited or stayed with during 2026

The offer page uses a stay-based description, but the full terms also refer to brands not previously visited or stayed at in 2026. We use that broader wording here. This is a calendar-year test, not a requirement that the brand has just joined GHA.

Your member dashboard can help you check previous brand stays. It may not resolve whether a non-overnight visit counts. If you have visited a brand already, or plan a QR-only visit before a bonus stay, ask GHA how that affects your eligibility before relying on D$50.

Once per brand, with a six-month expiry

You can earn D$50 at more than one qualifying brand. Two-night stays with Sunway Hotels & Resorts, Anantara and Pan Pacific could earn D$150 in total if each brand and booking meets the rules. Staying at another hotel within the same brand does not unlock another D$50.

Each award is Promotional D$, valid for 6 months from its own issuance date. Normal Base D$ expiry rules do not extend it. The promotion bonus is additional to eligible Base D$ earnings, whose usual programme rules continue to apply.

Direct booking alone does not make every rate eligible

Check the rate as well as the booking channel. The terms exclude third-party booking sites, tour-operator packages, specified industry rates, complimentary nights and other ineligible rates. Multiple rooms in one booking count as a single stay for the reward. Do not assume this offer stacks with another promotion unless explicitly permitted.

Where Singapore travellers could use the promotion

GHA DISCOVERY brings together familiar hotel brands rather than one uniform hotel chain. The campaign advertises 55 brands and around 1,000 hotels. For Singapore travellers, Sunway, Anantara, Pan Pacific, PARKROYAL and PARKROYAL COLLECTION make this relevant to regional trips as well as luxury holidays.

A two-night Sunway getaway

Imagine you already want a weekend in Sunway City Kuala Lumpur, with time for Sunway Lagoon and Sunway Pyramid. Compare participating Sunway properties for your actual dates. If the direct rate works, the brand meets your 2026 eligibility test and you register before booking, a qualifying two-night stay could add D$50 and five draw entries to a trip you intended to take anyway.

The fixed bonus represents a larger share of a moderately priced stay. For illustration, D$50 has redemption value equal to 20% of a hypothetical US$250 hotel bill, compared with 5% of a US$1,000 bill. These are arithmetic examples, not quoted Sunway rates or cash rebates. The practical value depends on redeeming the D$ before expiry.

Bangkok, Phuket and Singapore staycations

Anantara may fit an existing Thailand trip; Pan Pacific or PARKROYAL COLLECTION may suit a planned Singapore celebration. Compare location, total price and cancellation flexibility before factoring in the bonus. Spending an extra S$250 for a hotel you like no better just to receive D$50 would be poor value.

These brands broaden the possibilities for city breaks. A multi-city trip may present more than one qualifying brand, but several hotels from the same brand still earn the bonus only once. Check the current GHA brand directory and individual property eligibility.

Your booking checklist

1. Register for the official GHA promotion before booking or participating.
2. Check your 2026 brand history and resolve any uncertainty about earlier visits.
3. Compare actual direct rates, cancellation terms and your alternative hotels.
4. Book an eligible rate through a qualifying website or app after registering. Pre-1 September bookings do not count.
5. For D$50, stay at least two consecutive nights and check out by 31 October 2026.
6. Check your account after the stay and note the six-month expiry when the bonus is issued.
